    Song 8 is a good exercise to strengthen your right hand technique using alternate picking, or down-up- down-up picking.
    In this example any time a note starts on a downbeat I start with a down stroke in the picking.
    There are a few longer lines such as in bars 12 and 18 where you want to pick all the notes. Try to make all the notes nice and even.
    This style of playing can be heard by many great guitarists such as Steve Morse, John Petrucci, Yngwie Malmsteen and many more
