    Description

    Song 8 is a good exercise to strengthen your right hand technique using alternate picking, or down-up- down-up picking.
    In this example any time a note starts on a downbeat I start with a down stroke in the picking.
    There are a few longer lines such as in bars 12 and 18 where you want to pick all the notes. Try to make all the notes nice and even.
