“Three Doors, Three Keys” has been an RGP staple for many years. It’s one of the oldest songs in the repertoire and certainly one of the favorites.
It’s in epic rock power ballad featuring Shunza 顺子 on vocals and really showcases her versatility as a singer, from aching sensitivity to belting highs.
Her entrance on the song is one of my favorite moments on the record.
The song is an intense journey, from the catchy guitar hook at the beginning to the raging horns at the end.
Along with “Reason’s Treason”, this track is also featured on Shunza’s new album “To the Top”, this time as the opening track rather than the closer like it is on “Flow”.
Also notable are Alec Haavik’s flawless sax solo and Chris Trzcinski’s thunderous drums building into the coda.
